The first word one hears when spoken about yoga or while enrolling for a yoga class is Asana. Asana in Sanskrit means "seat" and this translates to the concept of pose or posture in the subject yoga. Yoga as a form has spread globally that asana is quite synonymous to the word itself.

Body is the best and impartial gift that each one of us has received if we have taken birth on this planet. How best we utilize the opportunities to take care of it is the primary goal of our lives. Our body becomes he first and easier way to attain oneness with the supreme power.
Strengthening & Toning one’s Body, Increasing Flexibility and Endurance, lowering inflammation thus minimizing diseases, injury rehabilitation, preventive health are the by-products of practicing asana. When there are only benefits why should one not practice yogAsana?
Asana is for anyone and everyone. they are designed and structured for human body. they are broadly divided into basic, intermediate and advance. Some of the other classifications are based on
Way they are performed (forward bend, back bend, balancing...)
Age (kids, adults, senior citizen)
Therapy (indigestion, back pain, diabetes...)
Props (chair, bricks, straps...)
Different school of thoughts (Iyengar, ashtanga...)
Profession and so on (athletes, techies...)
Some of the commonly asked questions which I get to answer
" When should I practice asana?” - Early in the morning, empty stomach before or at the time of sunrise is ideal.
“Which asana to begin with?” - understand your body first and start small and simple
